Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park
Meet your safari leader at your Nairobi hotel at 7:30 am for a briefing about the 10-day safari. Afterward, drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for check-in and lunch.
In the afternoon, go on a guided game drive and spot animals such as Rothschild giraffes, black rhinos, and many bird species including flamingos, pelicans, and tawny eagles.
Day 2: Birding Excursion and Depart for Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, go for a morning birding experience in Lake Nakuru National Park, where you will spot early risers becoming active. Expect to see ospreys, African fish eagles, green wood hoopoes, and pink-backed pelicans.
Later, continue to Lake Naivasha, home to over 450 bird species.
Day 3: Explore Crescent Island and Drive to Maasai Mara
After morning tea or coffee, take a short boat ride to Crescent Island Game Sanctuary, where you will find elands, impalas, zebras, giraffes, and several bird species like fish eagles.
Afterward, drive to Masai Mara National Reserve, home to rhinos, lions, elephants, zebras, and buffaloes.
You will enjoy an afternoon game drive to spot wildlife in the park.
Day 4: Full Day Game Viewing
After breakfast, spend the entire day exploring Masai Mara. Expect to see the Big Five, cheetahs, giraffes, jackals, rhinos, and hyenas.

Day 8: Serengeti to Ngorongoro
