Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival & Transfer to Arusha
Meet and greet our company representative at Kilimanjaro or Arusha International Airport. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay. Welcome to Tanzania.
Day 2: Transfer to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, your driver will pick you up for the start of your safari adventure. You will drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large herds of elephants and huge baobab trees.
Upon arrival, enjoy your first game drive in search of wildlife and bird species that live in this park. Animals you may see include zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, impalas, gazelles, oryx, and rare gerenuks. With some luck, you might spot big cats such as leopards, lions, and cheetahs. After your game drive, head to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Game Drive & Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Start your day with an early morning game drive for a chance to see predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs during their morning hunt. Return to the lodge for breakfast, then set off for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will cross the Great Rift Valley, enjoying scenic views along the way, and have a picnic lunch en route.
Upon arrival, stop at a viewpoint along the crater rim to admire the famous Ngorongoro Crater. You will then descend to the crater floor for a game drive. This area is home to around 30,000 animals, including all members of Africa’s Big Five—elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and rhinos—as well as zebras, wildebeests, antelopes, and many bird species. Later, drive to your camp or lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Transfer to Serengeti National Park
Enjoy breakfast, then drive to Serengeti National Park, one of the most popular parks in Tanzania and home to the Great Wildebeest Migration.
Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive across the wide plains and experience the beauty of the Serengeti wilderness. Later in the afternoon, drive to your lodge or camp for check-in, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 5: Full Day Exploration of Serengeti National Park
Start the day with an early morning game drive to spot nocturnal animals and predators like lions, leopards, jackals, cheetahs, and hyenas returning from their night hunts. Afterward, return to your lodge for breakfast.
With a packed picnic lunch, head out again for a full day of game drives in the Serengeti. Depending on the season, you might witness the Great Wildebeest Migration, where millions of wildebeests and zebras move across the plains. You may also see elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, and many bird species. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Domestic Flight to Zanzibar
After an early breakfast, enjoy one last short game drive on your way to Seronera Airstrip for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, a company representative will transfer you to your beach resort on Kiwengwa Beach for relaxation.
Days 7–9: Zanzibar Beach Vacation
After your safari adventure, it’s time to relax and enjoy Zanzibar’s white sandy beaches and warm turquoise waters. Spend your days swimming, sunbathing, or walking along the beach.
Optional activities include a Spice Island tour, a Stone Town tour, a visit to Prison Island, a Dolphin tour, or the full-day Safari Blue tour (available at extra cost). Spend your evenings relaxing at your beach resort.
Day 10: Flight Back Home
Wake up to the gentle sound of waves and enjoy breakfast at your beach resort. Depending on your flight time, you can visit Stone Town for some souvenir shopping or relax at the beach before transferring to the airport for your flight back home.
