Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Flight to Serengeti National Park
You will be picked up from your hotel and taken to the airport for your scheduled domestic flight from Julius Nyerere International Airport or Kilimanjaro/Arusha airports to Serengeti National Park.
Upon arrival at the airstrip, your professional safari guide will meet you and take you on a game drive through the Serengeti plains.
During the drive, look out for animals such as lions, African buffaloes, hyenas, and primates. The park is also home to many bird species, including the handsome francolin, African paradise flycatcher, African fish eagle, turaco, Abyssinian ground hornbill, black bee-eater, egret, hammerkop, secretary bird, and saddle-billed stork.
Enjoy a delicious picnic lunch in the park before continuing your game drive across the open plains. Spend the afternoon spotting more animals and admiring the golden landscapes.
At sunset, you will drive to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Game Drive & Fly Back
Wake up early for breakfast while enjoying views of the park’s vegetation and wildlife from your lodge. After breakfast, set out for a guided morning game drive across the endless plains of Serengeti.
Take photos and enjoy the fresh morning air as you watch animals in their natural environment. Around 11:00 a.m., return to the airstrip for your flight back to Arusha, marking the end of your 2-day Serengeti Flying Safari.
