Upon arrival at your lodge, check in and enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, head out for a game drive through the plains and river areas of Central Serengeti. This is where you may witness the great migration as thousands of wildebeests move together across the landscape.

You will also have a chance to see other animals grazing or resting near the riverbanks. As the sun sets, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive in Serengeti National Park and Transfer to Ngorongoro Area

Wake up early for breakfast and head out for a guided morning game drive in Serengeti National Park. This is the best time to see active wildlife, as animals are most lively during the cool hours of the morning.

You may see lions hunting, herds of elephants feeding, and many bird species flying above the plains. Take photos to capture the wonderful memories before returning to the lodge for checkout.

Afterward, drive to Ngorongoro Crater, a journey of about three hours. On arrival, check in at your lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, explore the Ngorongoro Crater area — a large volcanic caldera known for its spectacular scenery and rich wildlife.

Spend time admiring the views and taking photographs before returning to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Half-Day Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater and Transfer to Arusha

After breakfast, embark on a half-day guided game drive in Ngorongoro Crater. The crater floor is home to many animals such as zebras, hyenas, giraffes, elephants, and buffalos.

You will also have a chance to see various bird species like the African paradise flycatcher, fish eagle, turaco, Abyssinian ground hornbill, black bee-eater, egret, hammerkop, and secretary bird.

After the game drive, return to your lodge for lunch before beginning your drive back to Arusha, which takes about three to four hours.

Your safari ends on arrival in Arusha, where you will either be transferred to the airport or continue with your onward travel plans.
