Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Fly from Arusha to Serengeti, Game Drive
Take a domestic flight from Arusha to Serengeti National Park, landing at one of the park’s airstrips. Upon arrival, a professional safari guide will meet you and take you on a game drive through the dry plains of the Serengeti.
Look out for animals such as wildebeests, lions, leopards, Cape buffaloes, and tree hyraxes. Continue to your lodge for check-in and enjoy a delicious lunch.
In the afternoon, relax at the lodge and take in the views of the Serengeti. You may also take a short walk around the lodge area to enjoy the natural surroundings. Dinner will be served in the evening, followed by an overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 2: Full-Day Game Drives
After breakfast, set off for a guided morning game drive at sunrise to see animals while they are most active. Early morning is the best time to spot predators such as lions, leopards, and hyenas hunting for prey.
Return to the lodge for lunch and some relaxation. In the afternoon, head out again for another game drive across the endless plains of the Serengeti. This is a great time to watch the wildebeest migration, where large herds of wildebeests move alongside zebras and giraffes across the streams and grasslands.
As the sun begins to set, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Flight Back to Arusha
After breakfast, go for a final morning game drive in Serengeti National Park to enjoy one last encounter with its incredible wildlife. You may spot elephants, antelopes, hippos, and a variety of birds before heading back to the airstrip.
