Day 1: Pick up and travel by road to Amboseli National Park
Start your day with a cup of tea or coffee, then depart for a 5–6 hour drive to Amboseli National Park. The park lies at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, and the sight of the snow-capped peak is truly unforgettable.
On arrival, check in at your lodge and have lunch. After some rest, go on an afternoon game drive to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, and other animals that make Amboseli special.
Day 2: Game drive and transfer to Tsavo West
After an early breakfast, head out for a morning game drive in Amboseli with your guide. Watch for more wildlife before departing for Tsavo West National Park.
At Tsavo, visit Mzima Springs, a natural pool where you can see hippos and fish in clear water. Afterward, continue to your lodge for lunch and relaxation. Later in the afternoon, enjoy another game drive where you may see elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, leopards, cheetahs, and various birds.
Day 3: Game drive and transfer to Tsavo East
Begin your day with a morning game drive in Tsavo West to see early risers such as elephants, buffaloes, and antelopes. Then drive to Tsavo East National Park, the largest park in Kenya and home to many animals.
After lunch at your lodge, go for an afternoon game drive. You will spot leopards, red-skinned elephants, giraffes, waterbucks, gerenuks, and many bird species.
Day 4: Sunrise game drive and departure
Enjoy a morning game drive after breakfast in Tsavo East National Park. Look out for lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants, rhinos, and several antelope species.
After the game drive, begin your journey back to Nairobi (about 5–6 hours) or to Mombasa (about 4–5 hours), marking the end of your 4-day Amboseli and Tsavo Safari.
