Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Airport Pick-Up and Transfer to Arusha
Our company representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel or lodge in Arusha for dinner and overnight stay. Depending on your arrival time, you can choose to explore Arusha on a short city tour or relax at your hotel and enjoy the available amenities.
Day 2: Transfer to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, your driver-guide will meet you and drive to Tarangire National Park, your first wildlife destination. The park is named after the Tarangire River, which is the main water source for thousands of animals during the dry season from June to October.
Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive with lunch en route. You will have high chances of seeing elephants, zebras, wildebeests, lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, buffaloes, and many bird species. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge or camp.
Day 3: Depart Tarangire for Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast and a short morning game drive in Tarangire, continue to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions. The park lies below the cliffs of the Manyara Escarpment on the edge of the Great Rift Valley, offering beautiful scenery along the way.
Upon arrival, go for a game drive. Expect to see flamingos, pelicans, storks, herons, elephants, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, giraffes, and baboons. Later, check into your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Days 4 & 5: Serengeti National Park Exploration
After breakfast, check out and drive to Serengeti National Park, one of Tanzania’s most famous parks. You will spend the next two nights here. The Serengeti offers some of the best wildlife viewing in Africa and is home to the Great Wildebeest Migration.
If you visit at the right time, you may witness millions of wildebeests and thousands of zebras and gazelles moving across the plains.
On the second day, enjoy a full-day game drive starting with a pre-sunrise safari to watch predators when they are most active. You will see animals such as lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, gazelles, and hyenas. Dinner and overnight stay at your camp or lodge.
Day 6: Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, enjoy a mid-morning game drive in Serengeti before leaving for Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to the world’s largest unbroken volcanic caldera.
Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon drive around the crater rim before heading to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight stay. Optional activity: early morning hot air balloon safari over the Serengeti (available at an extra cost).
Day 7: Explore the Ngorongoro Crater Floor and Drive to Arusha
The Ngorongoro Crater is a world-famous natural wonder that supports about 30,000 animals. After breakfast, descend into the crater for a full day of wildlife viewing.
You will have a chance to see the Big Five: lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and black rhinos, along with wildebeests, zebras, hippos, warthogs, gazelles, hyenas, and many birds. Have your lunch at a picnic site before returning to Arusha for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 8: Flight to Zanzibar
After breakfast, transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. On arrival, you will be picked up and taken to your hotel or beach resort, where you will spend the next few nights. There are many accommodation options on the island, and we will ensure your stay matches your style and preferences.
Days 9 to 12: Zanzibar Island
Zanzibar is known for its white sandy beaches, clear blue waters, and coral reefs. It is a perfect place to relax after your safari. You can spend your time resting at your resort or exploring the island.
Optional activities include visiting Stone Town, Jozani Forest, Prison Island, and local spice farms. You can also enjoy snorkeling, diving, canoe rides, or swimming with dolphins. Dinner and overnight stay at your beach resort.
Day 13: Flight Back Home
After breakfast and some last views of the ocean, check out of your room and transfer to the airport in Zanzibar for your flight back home.
