Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara
Leave Nairobi for Masai Mara with your professional driver guide in a safari vehicle. The drive takes about three hours with a stop at the equator line for photos. Masai Mara National Reserve is one of Africa’s best safari destinations, home to the Big Five and the world-famous wildebeest migration. Arrive at your lodge, check in, and relax.
Day 2: Full-Day Game Drive
Spend the day exploring the open plains of Masai Mara. Enjoy sunrise and sunset game drives as you search for lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, zebras, hippos, gazelles, baboons, and many more animals.
Visit a nearby Masai village to learn about their traditional culture, food, and dances, and see their Manyatta homesteads.
Day 3: Game Drive and Travel to Lake Naivasha
After an early morning game drive in Masai Mara, continue your journey to Lake Naivasha through the Great Rift Valley. Lake Naivasha is famous for large flocks of birds such as flamingos, fish eagles, herons, jacanas, and kingfishers. Arrive at your lodge for a relaxing evening.
Day 4: Naivasha to Amboseli National Park
Start the day with a short game drive around Lake Naivasha. You may see animals such as giraffes, hippos, waterbucks, and zebras, as well as birds like flamingos, marabou storks, and lovebirds.
Later, drive to Amboseli National Park, one of Kenya’s most scenic parks with views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Full-Day Game Drive in Amboseli
Enjoy a full day of game viewing in Amboseli. Look out for lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, buffaloes, and giraffes. Amboseli is known for its large herds of elephants and great photo opportunities with Mount Kilimanjaro in the background.
Spend the day exploring the open plains, taking photos, and enjoying picnic meals in the park. Return to your lodge for dinner and rest.
Day 6: Head to Tsavo West National Park
After breakfast, drive to Tsavo West National Park, known as the “Land of Lava, Springs, and Man-Eaters.” The park is filled with wildlife and dotted with acacia trees that make it a great photography destination. Have lunch en route, and upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive. Expect to see elephants, rhinos, hippos, lions, cheetahs, leopards, and buffaloes.
Day 7: Head to Mombasa for Beach Holidays
Start the day with an early game drive in Tsavo West to spot any animals you might have missed. After breakfast, continue to Mombasa for your beach holiday. Arrive in the evening, check in at your beach resort, and relax for the night.
Day 8–9: Explore Mombasa Beaches
Spend two relaxing days enjoying the beaches of Mombasa. Take part in activities like snorkeling, swimming, sunbathing, fishing, beach soccer, and boat rides. You can also enjoy local entertainment, traditional dances, and coastal food.
Take a nature walk along the beach or simply relax as you listen to the sound of the ocean waves.
Day 10: Return to Nairobi and Departure
Enjoy your final breakfast at the beach hotel. Later, transfer to the airport for your flight to Nairobi. Proceed to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to catch your flight back home.
