After an early breakfast, begin your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The drive takes about 8 hours, but you will enjoy scenic landscapes and a stop at the Equator crossing at Kayabwe for photos and an experiment.

Continue to Bwindi and check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking

After breakfast, drive to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. The park ranger will explain the rules, including keeping a safe distance, avoiding noise, and not feeding the gorillas.

Start your trek through the forest in search of a gorilla family. The trek can take between 3 to 8 hours depending on the gorillas’ location. Once found, spend one full hour observing their behavior and taking photos.

You may also spot other wildlife such as monkeys, birds, and forest plants along the way. Return to your lodge in the afternoon for lunch and a relaxed evening.

Day 4: Transfer Back to Entebbe and Fly to Maasai Mara

Leave Bwindi early in the morning and fly back to Entebbe International Airport. After lunch and a short rest, board your connecting flight to Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya.

Upon arrival, meet your Kenyan safari guide for a briefing about the next part of your journey. In the afternoon, head out for a short game drive across the plains of Maasai Mara before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Full Day in Maasai Mara Reserve

Spend the entire day exploring the Maasai Mara. The game drives offer chances to see lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, and herds of wildebeests. During the migration season, you may witness thousands of animals crossing the Mara River.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park while admiring the scenery. Later, visit a Masai village to learn about their traditions, dances, and lifestyle before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Transfer to Nairobi and Departure
