Day 1: Flight to Rubondo Island National Park
You will take a flight from Dar es Salaam, Arusha, or Serengeti to Mwanza Airport. From Mwanza, enjoy a short 30-minute flight to Rubondo Airstrip on Rubondo Island National Park.
On arrival, your safari guide will meet and welcome you, then drive you to your lodge, located about 20 minutes from the airstrip. This beautiful forested island will be your home for two nights, where you can enjoy the cool breeze from Lake Victoria and relax in a peaceful natural setting.
