Day 1: Transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve and Evening Game Drive
You will be picked up from your hotel or the airport in Nairobi and begin your journey to Masai Mara National Reserve, which takes about 5 hours and 20 minutes.
On arrival, check in at your lodge or camp and enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, set out for your first game drive in the Mara Triangle, where you can spot elephants, lions, giraffes, and zebras before sunset. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Bird Watching and Hot Air Balloon Tour
After breakfast, go for a guided bird watching tour in the reserve. The grasslands and woodlands of Masai Mara are home to many bird species such as ostriches, secretary birds, crowned cranes, hornbills, and eagles.
