Detailed 3-Day Wildebeest Migration Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Masai Mara and Evening Game Drive
You will be picked up from your hotel in Nairobi by your safari guide and start the 5-hour drive to Masai Mara National Reserve. Along the way, enjoy beautiful views of Kenya’s landscapes and local communities.
Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch at around 1:00 p.m. After some rest, set out at 3:00 p.m. for an evening game drive in the reserve. This is a great time to spot big cats such as lions, leopards, and jackals. Return to your lodge at around 6:00 p.m. for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Full-Day Game Drives
After breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive through Masai Mara National Reserve, exploring areas such as Ol Choro, Enonkishu, and Motorogi. You will have your lunch in Motorogi at the Queen’s Lounge Restaurant.
In the afternoon, drive east toward Naboisho and Ol Kinyei conservancies for more wildlife viewing. These areas are rich in animal activity and offer excellent chances to spot predators and grazing herds. Return to your lodge at Leleshwa Olarro for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Transfer Back to Nairobi
Enjoy breakfast and then go for a morning game drive through Siana, Sekenani, and Talek areas. You will spot many birds and mammals as you drive across the plains of Masai Mara and the Mara Triangle.
After the drive, begin your journey back to Nairobi at around 3:00 p.m., marking the end of your 3-day Wildebeest Migration Tour.
