Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Our company representative will pick you up from the airport or your hotel in Arusha and drive you to your first destination. After a short briefing from your driver or guide, you will set off for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, passing through the Great Rift Valley and enjoying the scenic views along the way.
On arrival, check into your lodge or camp and have lunch. In the afternoon, go for a game drive around the crater rim. You will have the chance to spot many animals and take beautiful photos before returning to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Exploration of Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, drive to the crater rim and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of game viewing. This natural wonder is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and home to about 30,000 animals and over 450 bird species. Enjoy your packed lunch at a picnic site inside the crater.
Expect to see lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and the rare black rhino. Other animals include wildebeests, zebras, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs, and antelopes. In the evening, drive back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer to Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, check out and drive to Serengeti National Park with packed lunch boxes. On the way, stop at Olduvai Gorge, a famous archaeological site.
Arrive in Serengeti in the afternoon and enjoy a game drive as you head to your lodge or camp. The park is full of wildlife and offers great photo opportunities. Dinner and overnight stay at your camp or lodge.
Day 4: Game Drives in Serengeti National Park
Spend a full day exploring the endless plains of Serengeti. Start early with a sunrise game drive to spot predators such as lions, leopards, and hyenas when they are most active. Return to your lodge for breakfast and later head out again with a packed lunch for another game drive.
Animals in the Serengeti include wildebeests, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, cheetahs, and many birds. If you visit during the migration season, you may witness the Great Wildebeest Migration. In the evening, return to your camp or lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Depart for Selous Game Reserve
After breakfast, enjoy a short game drive before being transferred to the airstrip for your domestic flight to Selous Game Reserve, the largest reserve in Tanzania and Africa.
On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your lodge or camp. Meet your lodge manager to plan the next two days of exploration. Spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing and enjoying the views of the wilderness. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge or camp.
Days 6 & 7: Exploring Selous Game Reserve
Spend two full days exploring Selous Game Reserve through game drives, guided walking safaris, and boat trips. The park covers a huge area with rich wildlife and scenic landscapes.
Animals found in Selous include elephants, hippos, crocodiles, lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and antelopes. You might also spot the endangered black rhino and African wild dog. Enjoy meals and overnight stays at your lodge or camp.
Day 8: Transfer to Zanzibar
After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Zanzibar. On arrival, your driver will take you to your beach hotel or resort. Spend the rest of the day relaxing, swimming, or enjoying the hotel facilities. Dinner and overnight stay at your resort.
Days 9–13: Zanzibar Beach Holiday
Enjoy five days on the beautiful beaches of Zanzibar. You can relax on the white sands, swim in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean, or take optional excursions such as the Prison Island Tour, Jozani Forest Walk, Safari Blue Tour, Dhow Cruise, or Dolphin Tour. Dinner and overnight stay at your resort.
Day 14: Exploration of Stone Town and Spice Tour
After breakfast, start the day with a Spice Tour to learn why Zanzibar is called the “Spice Island.” You will see, smell, and taste various spices grown on the island.
Later, explore Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its rich history and cultural blend. Visit local markets, the Old Fort, Sultan’s Palace, and other landmarks. Afterward, return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 15: Departure
After breakfast, check out and transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
