Detailed 3 Days Ol Pejeta Conservancy Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Ol Pejeta Conservancy
You will be picked up from your hotel in Nairobi by your safari guide and begin your journey to Ol Pejeta Conservancy through the Rongai Gate. The drive takes about 4 hours and 30 minutes (around 218 kilometers).
On arrival, enjoy lunch at Moranis Restaurant, then head out for an afternoon game drive in the northern part of the conservancy. Pass through the equator at Nanyuki and the Sweetwaters Tented Camp area before continuing to Morani, Murenga, and Donga regions. Later, settle at your camp in the northern part of Ol Pejeta for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Game Drive and Big Five Encounter
After breakfast, set out for a morning game drive across the Lodru Plains, where you can spot rhinos grazing freely. Continue to the Muturu Plains to look for lions and leopards. Enjoy lunch at your lodge around 1:00 p.m. and later explore the Tangi Plains in the afternoon to spot more animals before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Ostrich Encounters and Transfer Back to Nairobi
After breakfast at around 7:00 a.m., head to the Loirugurug Plains to see ostriches and other wildlife. After the activity, check out and exit the conservancy through Kamok Gate. Continue your journey back to Nairobi via the Nanyuki Road, marking the end of your 3 Days Ol Pejeta Conservancy Tour.
