After breakfast, pick up your trekking documents and packed lunch before heading to the park headquarters for briefing at 8:30 am. Rangers will explain the trekking guidelines and divide visitors into groups before leading you into the forest.
The trek can take between one and eight hours, depending on where the gorillas are located and your fitness level. Once you find them, you will spend one unforgettable hour watching these gentle apes as they feed, play, and care for their young.
After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch, then visit the Batwa community for a cultural encounter filled with stories, music, and traditional dance. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

The cruise offers great opportunities for photography and relaxation. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Morning Game Drive and Community Walk at Lake George
Start your day with a cup of coffee and head out for an early morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains. You will see animals like lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and antelopes. Early morning is the best time to spot wildlife as they are most active.
Return to the lodge for lunch, then go for a guided nature or community walk along the shores of Lake George. The Kasoga Community Experience introduces you to the local fishermen and residents who have lived here for generations.
You can also take part in activities such as canoeing, sport fishing, or nature walks. Afterward, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
